Dreamworld on the Gold Coast in Australia has re-opened to visitors under an industry-approved COVID Safe plan.
The park is now operating at a reduced capacity and it's recommended that visitors purchase entry tickets online.
Some of the rides, attractions and experiences are temporarily unavailable.
Dreamworld operational changes:
- To help reduce contact, Dreamworld recommends that visitors purchase their entry tickets online.
- Park capacity has been reduced in consultation with Queensland Health.
- To assist with contact tracing, a name, address and mobile number for each guest must be provided, see here.
- Visitors should always remain 1.5 metres from others, and floor indicators show the appropriate spacing required.
- Entry and exit points have been reconfigured to prevent congestion. Indoor areas have maximum capacity signposted and enforced by team member.
- Hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser are available throughout the park.
- High touch surfaces are regularly cleaned and disinfected (lockers, handrails etc).
- Guests are welcome to wear masks/face coverings throughout the visit however some attractions may require the removal of non-surgical masks where they present a loose-article hazard.
- To separate rider groups, seats will be left vacant in line with ride manufacturer consultation.
- Character appearances will be contact free.
