Australia's tallest and fastest 360° swing ride is coming to Aussie World on June 18, the SX360.

The new thrill ride will reach speeds of 80km/h and catapult up to 24 riders 32 metres into the air. It is a pendulum ride with a counter weight and a full inversion 360° arch.  

The multi-million dollar Typhoon 360 has been supplied by the Italian ride manufacturer Technical Park.

This $2.5 million investment into the park is the first new ride to open since 2011, and is just the beginning of an expansion with even more rides, attractions and events on the way in the coming years.

Aussie World is a family theme park on the Sunshine Coast, with over 30 different rides and attractions.
