New launch roller coaster the Big Dipper will open at Luna Park Sydney on December 26.

It will be Australia's tallest and fastest multi-launch coaster and the world’s first inline seating launched roller coaster, with a top speed in excess of 70 kilometres per hour.

The Big Dipper has been manufactured by Intamin, one of the world’s best manufacturers of roller coasters.

Earlier this year Luna Park Sydney opened a 30-metre high 360° thrill ride, a family roller coaster and 6 children’s rides as part of a $30 million upgrade to the attraction.
