Luna Park Sydney will re-open on June 26 following a $30 million upgrade including the introduction of 8 new rides.

Additions to the park include a 30-metre high 360° thrill ride, a family roller coaster and 6 children’s rides. A total of 62 shipping containers from various ride manufacturers including Intamin, Gerstlauer and Zamperla ensured the safe arrival of all the rides.

The new multi-launch roller coaster, the Big Dipper, will open in December.

Australia's tallest and fastest 360° swing ride is coming to Aussie World on June 18, the SX360.

The new thrill ride will reach speeds of 80km/h and catapult up to 24 riders 32 metres into the air. It is a pendulum ride with a counter weight and a full inversion 360° arch.

The multi-million dollar Typhoon 360 has been supplied by the Italian ride manufacturer Technical Park.
