This week a Sydney icon will reopen after a major overhaul, as Luna Park Sydney unveils the fully restored Wild Mouse roller coaster, marking a major milestone for the beloved attraction.

Known for its thrilling twists, sharp drops, and historic significance, the Wild Mouse is one of only three roller coasters of its kind still operating worldwide. This iconic ride, with its 400-metre steel track suspended on timber towers, is set to continue thrilling generations of visitors for many years to come.

The most recent restoration started in 2023, and it has been most extensive overhaul in the ride’s history. The Wild Mouse is set to reopen on 14th March 2025.

Dreamworld has announced that a new Intamin Gyro Swing thrill ride named King Claw will open at the park in 2025.

At a towering 27 metres, King Claw will be more than 50% higher than the park's current version, The Claw, which opened in 2004.

Reaching a blistering 98 km/h, 50% faster than its predecessor, King Claw’s arc swings 42 metres high, soaring beyond Steel Taipan’s tallest point.

New thrill ride The Flash: Speed Force is now open at Warner Bros. Movie World.

This 30-metre-high attraction takes riders on a thrilling journey where they reach speeds up to 70km/h. Prepare to twist, spin and speed along a 67-metre-long half-pipe track whilst The Flash takes on his greatest villain, The Reverse-Flash. It may be familiar to some, as it previously operated at the nearby Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast as Surfrider.

The Flash: Speed Force is a steel shuttle 'Half Pipe' roller coaster manufactured by Intamin. It is themed to the DC Comics superhero The Flash.
